Covid-19 Guidelines

The latest guidance from both Badminton England and from the Leisure Centre confirm that the recent restrictions will be lifted from Monday 19th July 2021.  This means effectively a return to normal, with playing combinations drawn from any of the membership present on the night.

However, it's clear that there is currently a surge in cases, though with less incidence of serious illness than in previous peaks.  Accordingly, members should continue to take all reasonable precautions.  These include:

• Avoidance of contact
• Social distancing
• No sharing of racquets
• Use of hand sanitiser
• Use of mask in any confined space

If there is any chance that you have any of the symptoms of Covid-19, you must not attend until you have a clear negative test outcome.

Finally, there is an expectation that members will obtain both vaccinations as soon as is reasonably possible.  These not only protect the individual, but also those around us.

We no longer need to record "court groups" in the weekly register, but that's still being used to record attendance.
